- Where do I get my rewards card?
Your uOttawa student ID card is your rewards card. You can pick up your student card in Room 112 at Tabaret Hall.
- Where can I check my points balance?
You can check your points balance online at www.geegeesrewards.ca.
- Do points carry over from year to year?
Points do not carry over each year. Your points balance will be cleared at the end of the school year (June 1).
- Can I transfer my points to my friend so they can achieve another level?
Points are non-transferable.
- If I forget my rewards card, can I bring it to the next event and get double my points?
If you forget your student card, you can ask the Gee-Gees Rewards Liaison Officer onsite to access your account manually and award you the points. You must provide your student number and some other proof of identification in order to have your points awarded manually. Once an event is over, you can no longer be awarded points for that event.
- I’ve lost my card, where can I get a new one?
If you lose your student card, you must complete a Request for Documents form available at
InfoService and pay the applicable
administrative fees.
- Will my points balance be transferred to my new card?
If your student number stays the same, the points will be transferred to the new card. If your student number changes, you must update your profile with the new student card number.
- Are all events rewards events?
Not all events on campus are rewards events. Check out Upcoming Events for more information on which events earn you points.
- Can I attend two events in the same day and get points for both?
Absolutely. You can attend all events that are offered on any given day and earn points. However, you must be present in the first half of an event in order to be awarded points.
- What if I show up after the event has started, do I still get my points?
You must be present in the first half of an event in order to be awarded points.
- How do I get points?
Every time you attend an event you automatically earn 5-20 points. Just get your student card scanned and you are that much closer to winning exciting prizes!
- How many points do I earn for each event?
Points awarded at each event range from 5 to 20 points. Check out About Gee-Gees Rewards from more information.
- Is each level I achieve cumulative or do I start at zero each level?
Each level is cumulative which means that if you keep accumulating points, you keep winning! By the end of the year, you could achieve all four prize levels.
- Does it cost anything to sign up?
Participation in Gee-Gees Rewards is free but you must be a current uOttawa student with a valid student ID card to participate.
- When and how do I collect my rewards/prizes after each level?
You will be contacted by e-mail at the end of each semester with the date and time for prize distribution.
